OSAC and ASPIRE offer a variety of webinars throughout the year for students, parents, and career/college practitioners. Participants of these webinars will get up-to-date information about Oregon grant programs, scholarships, financial aid application assistance, and support via live Q&A. These webinars are FREE, but registration is required to receive event link and reminder email.

The presentations are designed to help high school students and their families understand how education can change their lives, how to choose their education path, and learn how to pay for college. Participants will learn to identify what steps they can take now to prepare for education beyond high school.

Thinking about attending college in the next few years? Do you need help understanding your options when it comes to paying for and affording college? Join the experts from ECMC's The College Place-Oregon, the Oregon Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (OASFAA), and colleges across Oregon as we explain the financial aid process.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with a financial aid officer in a secure chatroom during the presentation. This FREE paying for college event is available for families in Oregon who want to explore the different options to help pay for college. The presentation is appropriate for high school students and their families, as well as adults continuing their education after high school.

Another College Night webinar is scheduled for Thursday, April 30th, 2026 from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM.  

ECMC College Nights events are designed to help high school students and their families understand the college-planning process. This session includes a presentation and supporting materials to help students:

  • Understand how education can change their lives
  • Choose their education path
  • Learn how to pay for college
  • Identify what steps they can take now to prepare for education beyond high school

High School & College Student Webinars

 

Webinars will relate to career and/or college planning. Topics may include financial aid and scholarship support, student loan information, the Oregon College Savings Plan, and more.

The 2026-27 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) OPENS on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025. The 2026-27 ORSAA (Oregon Student Aid Application) will OPEN a couple of weeks after FAFSA. Students starting college in Fall 2026 will file the 2026-27 FAFSA or ORSAA. 

 

FAFSA Student Drop-in Sessions - Get free, 1:1 help with your 2026-27 FAFSA or ORSAA (financial aid applications).
