Kaitlyn Kruse (12), Cross Country – Kaitlyn has won dozens of races this fall, set the school record for 5K, was the Mt. Hood Conference Girls Champion and was voted the conference Runner of the Year. Most impressive though is her leadership in practice and in the classroom. She is taking 3 AP classes and her teachers sing her praises about how she sets the curves on tests. She truly wants to learn and raises the academic capital in the room through high-level questions and discussions. She is a true student-athlete. |

Xavier Glenn (12), Football – Xavier has been fundamental to the success of the football team this Fall. He anchors the left side of the offensive line at the left tackle position and has done a great job adding stability and confidence into the offense. Xavier is an extremely intelligent player and almost like having a coach on the field. He not only controls what he does, but others along the offensive line. Typically, offensive linemen receive little notoriety, and it’s for this reason you will not see him leading in rushing yards or TD's. However, he has a large part in the team’s success; so much that Xavier was named 1st team All-Conference at his position. Off the field Xavier maintains a 3.0 GPA, he is the RHS ASB president and an overall ambassador for RHS. Xavier models truly what it means to be a student-athlete. His steadfast commitment should be the example for all. |
