Affordable Connectivity Program
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), administered by the Federal Communications Commission, gives low-income households a discount on internet services, so they don’t have to decide between purchasing broadband or other necessities.

How to Participate in ACP
Check your eligibility and enroll in the ACP at http://getinternet.gov. There is no fee to apply.
New: $30 Internet Plans
The federal government has secured 20 leading internet providers to offer ACP-eligible households a high-speed internet plan for no more than $30 per month. Eligible families who pair their ACP benefit with one of these plans can receive high-speed internet at no cost. Visit http://getinternet.gov for more details.

Community Vision Assistive Technology Lab has developed a wonderful online resource for our community: please check out the AT Lab website for downloadable information on iPad Basics, Accessibility Settings, Email & Video Chat set-up, and Internet Safety. The page also includes an accessibility widget (upper right corner) that modifies the webpage based on different accessibility needs. The site can be translated and some of the content is translated into several different languages.
Community Vision AT Lab developed the resources in partnership with the City of Portland with funding made available through the City’s CARES Act Technology Kit project.

OregonYouthLine.org is a free teen-to-teen crisis support and help line. YouthLine is confidential to a point - while they will never share conversations had on the lines, they are mandatory reporters. If a young person is unable to agree to safety for themselves or another person, or if abuse is occurring, YouthLine contacts other agencies to ensure the best support and safety for the young person in crisis.
