Positive Behavior Intervention Support Program

Introduced at Reynolds Middle School a few years ago, the PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) Program was developed to teach students behavioral expectations. Through positive reinforcement and a positive atmosphere created by the PBIS team, when good behavior is modeled, students are more successful. The PBIS motto asks us to respect other students and staff, stay safe and manage our behavior to better access learning.

What is great RMS behavior?  It's easy to remember when you think of it this way:

R=Respect others (is what I'm doing or saying showing respect to my classmates? my teachers? myself?)

M=Manage self (am I showing self control in my actions?  am I following school guidelines without having to be reminded?)

S=Stay safe (is my behavior safe for myself and those around me?)
