Hello Hartley Families! 

We hope you had a wonderful summer! This post contains information about the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year. Please read through everything carefully as some things have changed for this coming school year. 

First we would like to welcome our new friends coming from Wilkes and Margaret Scott.

ParentVUE
Please remember to log into your ParentVUE account and update/verify your students information. You can also find out who your students teacher is for the 25/26 school year on ParentVUE.

School Hours for students: 
Tue.-Fri. 7:45-2:15 (doors open for breakfast at 7:30)
Monday Late Start 8:55-2:15 (doors open for breakfast at 8:40)
School calendar is attached below.

First Day of School:
1st-5th grades first day of school will be Tuesday, September 2nd.
Kindergarten students will have a gradual entry. Kindergarten teachers will reach out this week to set up meetings with families for Tuesday, September 2nd. Then half the kindergarten students will attend on Wednesday, September 3rd and the other half will attend on Thursday, September 4th.
All kindergarten students will attend together starting on Friday, September 5th. Teachers will share additional information as they meet with parents. 

School Communication:
All school communication this year will be through ParentSquare, Facebook and the Hartley Website.
ParentSquare is how your child's teacher will communicate information to families. Please remember to check this site regularly. You can also use your smart phone and download the free ParentSquare app. The "How To" page is linked HERE. 
Facebook Do you have a Facebook account? If so, please "LIKE" Hartley. This will keep you updated on all things happening at school. Our page is linked here: Hartley Facebook

Bus Schedule:

Select the BLUE bar that says "Click here to view bus routes" and then select Hartley. 
Please note that bus schedules are an ever changing document, keep this link and please check before the first day of school as bus numbers, stops and times may have changed. 

School Supplies and backpacks:
Hartley school will provide all school supplies for students. No need to hunt through the stores for supplies. All student supplies will be ready for students here on the first day of school. We do ask that students bring a backpack everyday. If you need assistance with providing a backpack for your student, please let us know and we will provide one for your student.

FREE Lunch and Breakfast:
Hartley school will provide free breakfast and lunch for all students. A menu and additional information is linked here FREE Lunch and Breakfast. Information can also be found on Hartley's webpage along with other important information throughout the school year. 

Mark Your Calendar:  
Back to School Open House: Thursday, August 28th, 5:30-7:00pm. Please see the flier below. 
School Picture Day: Friday, October 3rd. More information coming soon.
