New Elementary Calendar!

Dear Reynolds Families;

In an effort to provide our elementary-level staff with additional training in Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) to better serve student learning, Reynolds School District is converting two student instructional days in the spring of 2023 to staff training days. The two dates recently approved by the School Board to provide this critical training will be Friday, February 24, and Friday, May 19, 2023.
 

K-5 Students will not attend school on these two days - February 24 and May 19.

 
LETRS training addresses the science of reading and provides teachers with strategies to help our K-5 learners decode words and develop a stronger awareness of letter-sound connections. Offering additional training in LETRS to our K-5 staff will further strengthen their teaching skills and the skills of our K-5 learners.
