Welcome Assistant Principal Bentley!

Assistant Principal Bentley

Reynolds School District is excited to introduce you to your new Assistant Principal for the 2022-2023 school year!

Jennifer Bentley brings over 15 years of experience supporting staff, students, and families in Title I schools. Dedicated to giving all students the literacy skills to be independent thinkers, she became an elementary reading specialist after teaching middle school for the first half of her career. She holds master's degrees from St. John Fisher College and the University of Virginia and obtained her administrative licensure from Portland State University. She firmly believes that all students deserve to feel a sense of belonging and success.

Jennifer initially worked in schools in Richmond, Virginia, and has spent the last eight years teaching in the Parkrose School District. Oregon is the fifth state she has lived in - and she loves it! She has a three-year-old daughter and a pitbull named Kona. Since her husband is also an educator, they enjoy summers traveling around the state and enjoying good food. She loves poetry, puzzles, and games, baking sweet treats with her daughter, and family bike rides.

Jennifer is honored to become part of the Reynolds School District and to learn and grow with the Salish Ponds community. She is excited to work together to uplift staff and students, bring joy to learning, and see students achieve in a variety of ways!

Welcome Assistant Principal Bentley!

The Salish Ponds Dragonflies are excited to welcome you into the nest and look forward to meeting in person in the summer!
