Hartley Reading Challenge

On April 11th our principal, Mr Conley, and our counselor, Mr. Cooper, put a challenge out to Hartley students. If they could read over 100,000 pages in 2 weeks they would let the students choose something crazy for them to do. As the kids started furiously reading, the teachers helped the students compile a list of reward challenges. After two weeks the students had read a total of 125,572 pages!!! Now it was time for Mr. Conley and Mr Cooper to pay up. Mr Conley agreed to have his hair cut in a fauxhawk and have the school initials shaved into his hair and Mr Cooper agreed to dye his hair pink.
