WMMS Verizon/Digital Promise Survey

YOUR CHILD'S FEEDBACK WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

Attention Walt Morey Parents,

As part of the Verizon/Digital Promise iPad grant, the Verizon Foundation has contracted with Westat to conduct a multi-year study of the program’s impact on teachers and students.  A primary goal of this study is to measure the effect of providing middle school students with mobile technology and 24/7 Internet access. Your child is not required to participate in the study, but the data collected will help Verizon know whether or not their investment is having a positive impact on students’ learning and academic achievement. 

Although nobody is required to participate, our goal is to have at least 80% of students take the survey.  During conferences, we passed out permission slips.  If you still have not signed one, but are willing to let you child take the survey, please use the link below to provide your digital signature and consent.

Como parte de la subvención para iPad de Verizon / Digital Promise, la Fundación Verizon ha contratado a Westat para realizar un estudio de varios años sobre el impacto del programa en maestros y estudiantes. Un objetivo principal de este estudio es medir el efecto de proporcionar a los estudiantes de secundaria con tecnología móvil y acceso a Internet las 24 horas, los 7 días de la semana. No se requiere que su hijo participe en el estudio, pero los datos recopilados ayudarán a Verizon a saber si su inversión está teniendo un impacto positivo en el aprendizaje y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes.

Aunque no se requiere que nadie participe, nuestro objetivo es que al menos el 80% de los estudiantes respondan a la encuesta. Durante las conferencias, repartimos hojas de permiso.
