MRS. PRUETT'S IMPORTANT NEWS - TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS & STUDENTS: FOR THE END OF THE 2020 - 2021 SCHOOL YEAR!

There are still 107 students who have not forecasted for classes next year.  Please submit your form so you can get the classes you want.  Otherwise, Mrs. Pruett and Mrs. Holcomb will choose for you.

Walt Morey Leadership is looking for motivated, enthusiastic students to join our class next year!  If you are interested in music, audio, and video editing, technology, acting and directing, organization, or have hidden talents to share, then this class could be for you.

Attention Students:

We will be having an all-student assembly on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, and we would like to feature student TikToks.  If you would like to be in the assembly, send your TikTok videos to Mrs. Pruett at tpruett@rsd7.net.  Be sure to keep them school-appropriate.  The best 10 performances will be shown during the assembly.

iPad & Library Book Return:

All students will need to turn in their iPad, musical instruments, and library books the week of June 14-18.  Hybrid students will turn them in on their last day of in-person school.  CDL students will turn them in on Wednesday and Thursday, June 16 - 17, 2021.

Orchestra Instrument Return:

All School District Orchestra instruments need to be returned to the school for inventory.  Using one during summer is not an option this year.  Please bring your instrument and method book back when you return your iPad.

8th Grade Promotion:

Only 28 students have submitted photos for the 8th grade slide show if we do not get more pictures, we will need to cancel the 8th grade slide show for the first time in Walt Morey History.  Please submit your photos to librarian Sally Miller, ASAP at snmiller@rsd7.net.

We would also like to feature 8th-grade student speakers and musical performances during the online ceremony.  If you are an 8th-grade student and have a few words of wisdom, a message of hope and inspiration, or a musical talent you would like to share with classmates on this special occasion, please send a video recording of your speech or performance to Mrs. Pruett at tpruett@rsd7.net.  The top 2 speeches and top 3 performances will be selected and added to the promotion video.

Reynolds School District is offering Summer School:

This is a free six-week program for Reynolds families, that will run from June 28 - August 6, 2021, Monday - Friday.  This is an in-person program (about 6 hours a day).  Transportation and meals will be provided.  You can visit the homepage of our website to find out more or click on this link: Summer Learning
