HOW TO ORDER YEARBOOKS - You should order yearbooks because you can look back at your old photos when you were young. They cost $12 now. If you don’t have the money you can ask your teachers to help you buy it. Talk to Mr. Riedl (room 609) or the secretaries, and they will help you order a yearbook. HONOR BAND/CHOIR RECOGNITION - We want to make a segment to honor the students in honor band and choir, to congratulate them on their success and effort to be nominated. They went to a weekend special to preform with other schools!
AAPI HERITAGE MONTH - May is American Asian Pacific Islanders Heritage month. It celebrates the achievements and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders that live in the U.S. Find out more on the WeekLee News!!!
SPECIAL OLYMPICS - Special Olympics is happening on May 23rd! Go cheer on for the life skills students as they leave to go to Gordon Russell Middle School. Watch the WeekLee News to hear them get interviewed!
SPIRIT WEEK & SCHOOL DANCE - Spirit week is on may 13-17th, Monday is Pajama day, Tuesday wear green and black day, Wednesday crazy hair day, Thursday super hero day, Friday Fancy dress up day. School dance reminder is reminding students to buy tickets for our last school dance of the year. To learn more about it go to this weeks segment or hbleehawks.com. They will be sold during lunches tickets only $7. The dance is on Friday, May 17th!!
