About Sweetbriar Elementary

Sweetbriar Elementary is working with the District and State standards to provide all students with a quality education while maintaining a safe, responsible and respectful environment. The goal is to teach the children positive academic, behavior, and social skills to create confidence, motivation and academic challenges. Many services are offered at Sweetbriar, including  PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support),  Title One reading, ELD, and  our PALS Parent Group. The overall intention is to prepare students to become lifelong learners.

"I am honored to be serving as the principal of Sweetbriar Elementary School. At Sweetbriar, your child will find a caring environment where teachers strive to help every student realize their full potential both academically and socially. We believe that quality education includes strong foundational skills, the elevation of critical thinking, and the promotion of creativity as a means of expression and communication.  Students are provided with opportunities to connect deeply with the school community while ensuring that their unique experiences and backgrounds are valued and honored.  I love to connect with families and welcome your emails, phone calls, and/or in-person visits."

Sincerely,
Marie Marianiello
